If in your heart is a seed of happiness, you will grow smiles on your face.
If in your heart is a seed of bitterness, you will expose sorrow.
If in your heart is a seed of hatred, you will give vent to resentment.
If in your heart is a seed of evil, you will show depravity.
If in your heart is a seed of kindness, you will put tolerance into practice.
You shall not live by mood, but by the state of mind.
Life is like a tree, which will only grow vigorously after the baptism of wind and rain.
So, don’t always frown with worry, or always sigh over setbacks and frustrations in life.
Sometimes, it is not that life is displeasing, but that we haven’t learned obedience yet.
However, knowledge always comes after experience.
Look back, and you will find the footprints you left after winds and rains are there.
There are pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy….
Don’t be always discouraged, don’t be always weak.
There are frustrations and disturbances all the way.
Only after sufferings will you see the “rainbow” appearing to you in the sky!
This poem really touched me. In retrospect, I always sighed over my eventful life that was full of hardships and heartbreaks, so I always felt depressed and had a worried frown. However, one day I saw the words ofAlmighty God, “When one has no God, when one cannot see Him, when one cannot clearly recognize God’s sovereignty, every day is meaningless, worthless, miserable. Wherever one is, whatever one’s job is, one’s means of living and the pursuit of one’s goals bring one nothing but endless heartbreak and irrelievable suffering, such that one cannot bear to look back. Only when one accepts the Creator’s sovereignty, submits to His orchestrations and arrangements, and seeks true human life, will one gradually break free from all heartbreak and suffering, shake off all the emptiness of life.” (from Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh) Almighty God’s words provided me with this insight: I strayed from God, lacked the knowledge of God’s sovereignty, always wanted to control over my own fate and went against everything the Creator arranged for me. So, when some things happened in my daily life that were displeasing to me, I always attempted to change their developing rules in accordance with my own ideas. However, the results were always against my wishes; thus, with the heart full of complaints, I was always living in misery and couldn’t get released. So, only if man returns before the Creator to accept His sovereignty and obey His orchestrations and arrangements, can they break free from these sufferings and find a worthy and meaningful life. Almighty God’s word, like a bright lamp, illuminated my heart. In the following days, I stopped resisting my fate but learned to obey God’s sovereignty and arrangements. When hardships and frustrations came to me, I did not focus on living in sufferings and complaints like before, but tried to face it properly. After I act like that for a period of time, I find that life is no longer a total mess to me. And I feel much relaxed and released and also look vigorous. Full of gratitude to God, I exclaim with emotion: It is so good to obey God’s sovereignty and arrangements!
