Question: Is there the saying of reincarnation in the Bible? Where does man’s soul go after death?

As for the reincarnation, the Bible has long recorded it. When the Lord Jesus talked about John the Baptist to the multitude, He said, “For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you. … And if you will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come” (Matthew 11: 10, 14). The Lord Jesus said John the Baptist is the coming Elijah, so John was the reincarnation of Elijah. This is a fact. Besides, the Book of Daniel also mentioned that the messenger of God said to Daniel, “But go you your way till the end be: for you shall rest, and stand in your lot at the end of the days” (Daniel 12:13). It means Daniel will reincarnate in the last days to enjoy the blessings God bestowed upon him.

The word “reincarnation” wasn’t mentioned in the Bible but such things were indeed recorded in the Bible, which means the reincarnation truly exists but it is just not revealed by obvious words. In the last days, God has expressed the truth personally to reveal this aspect of mystery. God says, “The basis of mankind’s existence is repeated reincarnation of the soul. In other words, every person gains a human life in the flesh when their soul is reincarnated. After a person’s body is born, its life continues until the flesh ultimately reaches its limits, which is the final moment, when the soul leaves its shell. This process repeats again and again, with a person’s soul coming and going time after time, and thus the existence of mankind is maintained. The life of flesh is also the life of man’s soul, and man’s soul supports the existence of man’s flesh. That is to say, each person’s life comes from their soul, and life is not inherent to the flesh.” “All who come into this world must pass through life and death, and the majority of them have passed through the cycle of death and rebirth. Those who are living will soon die, and the dead will soon return. All of this is the course of life arranged by God for each living being. Yet this course and this cycle are precisely the truth that God wishes for man to behold: that the life bestowed upon man by God is limitless, unfettered by physicality, time, or space. Such is the mystery of life bestowed upon man by God, and proof that life came from Him.

From these words, we get to know mankind’s development is because of the incarnation of soul in turn; each person can live in this world because his soul supports the existence of his flesh. In fact, man’s flesh is just a shell without life. When God arranges a soul to incarnate, then his life is started. In the meanwhile, the family he will born in, the fate of his whole life as well as his life expectancy are all predestined by God. When that age God predestined for him is reached, his soul will leave and at the same time, his flesh will die. After his death, the flesh is still a handful of dirt while his soul will enter into the spiritual realm. Under the sovereignty and arrangement of God, he will incarnate to this world again in the suitable time. Just in this way, the soul comes and goes, and goes and comes, maintaining the existence of all mankind. This is the living process God arranges for mankind and also the expression and proof of the fact that God rules over all things.

After one’s death, his soul will enter into the spiritual world, then what is the spiritual world? God says, “The existence of the spiritual world is inextricably linked to the material world of mankind. It plays a major role in the cycle of human life and death in God’s dominion over all things; this is its role, and this is one of the reasons that its existence is important. Because it is a place that is indiscernible to the five senses, no one can accurately judge whether the spiritual world exists or not. Its various dynamics are intimately connected to human existence, as a result of which the order of life of mankind is also hugely influenced by the spiritual world. Does this involve God’s sovereignty or not? It does. When I say this, you understand why I am discussing this topic: It is because it concerns God’s sovereignty, as well as His administration. In a world such as this—one that is invisible to people—its every heavenly edict, decree, and administrative system is far above the laws and systems of any nation of the material world, and no being living in this world would dare to contravene or violate them. Does this relate to God’s sovereignty and administration? In the spiritual world, there are clear administrative decrees, clear heavenly edicts, and clear statutes. At different levels and in various areas, attendants strictly abide by their duties and observe rules and regulations, for they know what the consequence of violating a heavenly edict is; they are clearly aware of how God punishes evil and rewards good, and of how He administers and rules over all things. Moreover, they clearly see how He carries out His heavenly edicts and statutes. Are these different from the material world inhabited by mankind? They are indeed enormously different. The spiritual world is a world that is completely different to the material world. Since there are heavenly edicts and statutes, this touches upon God’s sovereignty, administration and, moreover, His disposition, as well as what He has and is.
